WHAT DO I DO WHEN THE VOLUME IS TOO LOW?

Check the sound settings on your computer's control panel.

Are you operating a laptop?  Do you need external speakers?  Internal speakers supplied by Macintosh provide inadequate volume control.

Check the volume control of your external speakers.
